I use the word “culture” to define the society that shames and controls bodies.
Because when body shamers tell me what NOT to eat, I eat even MORE of it. Honestly, there are no REAL reasons to NOT eat something unless you’re allergic to it or if it would react badly with medication. Body shamers have been controlling your body and decisions far too long.
Jessica, also known as Fatseux is a body/fat positive blogger who inspires me (and most of you as well) on a daily basis with her style, intellect, wittiness, and general awesomeness.
DF Note: Kimya Dawson is a singer/songwriter of size and excellence. Dawson is well known for contributing songs and music to the soundtrack of the movie Juno featuring Michael Cera and Ellen Page.
