Also, know that both self-hate and body-hate are products of the society we live in. It’s never your fault.
yup.
Happy 2013 ya’ll!
Reclaiming the word fat was the most empowering step in my progress. I stopped using it for insult or degradation and instead replaced it with truth, because the truth is that I am fat, and that’s ok. So now when someone calls me fat, I agree, whereas before I would get embarrassed and emotional.
Rebel Wilson is an Australian actor and comedian. I love Rebel’s presence in the media. Hopefully, she’ll have roles in the future where her character’s identity isn’t constructed around her fatness. She’s extremely talented and beautiful.
I hear so many people say they are too fat to be feminine/masculine/androgynous etc. Fatness does not invalidate any of those things.
I don’t actually own a scale, so I’ve no idea how much I weigh. I wear a US women’s size 26/28. I’m 21.
I love my body. I even love this silly little smirk.

Let’s take the fucking summer back.
19 years old, 5 foot 4 inches, around 170 lbs.
I haven’t worn pants in months but in dresses I’m a XL or XXL sometimes.
A couple months ago I would have never thought of posting a picture like this in fear of who would see, but now I don’t care. This is me in all my stretch marked, back-rolled, chubby goodness!
