Reclaiming the word fat was the most empowering step in my progress. I stopped using it for insult or degradation and instead replaced it with truth, because the truth is that I am fat, and that’s ok. So now when someone calls me fat, I agree, whereas before I would get embarrassed and emotional.
Let’s take the fucking summer back.
Fuck society’s mentality towards the rape of fat people. Even if you don’t report the assault, just know that your body does not mean that someone has the right to harm you.
You never know what you might find out about yourself by examining your body in the nude.
It’s your body. Loving it is no one else’s business.
Never succumb to bullshit rules that determine what you should or shouldn’t wear. Enjoy experimenting with colors, patterns, different cuts and materials.
Note: This only applies to weight.
Unless you WANT to but as I always say, you should never feel as if you HAVE to.
Because merely tolerating is simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
Look at this awesome shirt I got for my birthday, y’all. Gonna wear it to school and yell at everyone who says “but you’re not fat!”
Fuck yeah, I’m fat. Let’s party.
(You can get your own party-positive shirt from the fine folks over at Seibei!)
With Love,

Note: There is nothing wrong with being thin but when people accept thin as the only way of being being beautiful is where the problem begins.
I mean, unless you want to go on a summer diet. You shouldn’t feel as if you need to.
